Meet Jessica

Putting community first.

I’m Jessica Gray, a Boca Raton resident since 2004 and a community advocate dedicated to inspiring positive change.

I care deeply about preserving the character, natural beauty, and quality of life that make Boca Raton  a special place to call home. As a boater, diver, kayaker, and paddleboarder, I’m passionate about protecting our waterways, parks, open spaces, and the outdoor experiences that bring our community together.

Since moving here to attend FAU, I’ve watched Boca evolve. While growth is a natural part of any thriving city, I’ve also seen how rapid development can strain our beaches, parks, neighborhoods, and overall quality of life. That perspective fuels my commitment to thoughtful, sustainable, community centered advocacy.

My work in marine conservation and civic engagement reflects this dedication. As the Founder of Boca Save Our Beaches, I’ve helped lead more than 550 beach cleanups, launched weekly water quality testing at four sites, and developed education programs focused on marine debris and environmental stewardship. These initiatives have engaged 2,500+ volunteers, covered 417+ miles of coastline, and inspired community members of all ages. I have authored two children’s workbooks, now used in elementary schools to teach kids about ocean protection and the importance of speaking up.

I’ve also served on the City of Boca Raton’s Environmental Advisory Board and Sustainability Advisory Board, contributing to policies designed to safeguard our natural resources. In addition, my time as Vice President of the Central Park HOA strengthened my belief in responsible decision making and collaborative community involvement. My entrepreneurial and technology background helps me approach challenges with creativity, efficiency, and a solutions-driven mindset.

Having lived across Boca, from Boca Teeca to the barrier island, I understand and appreciate the unique character of each neighborhood. When I’m not working or volunteering, you’ll usually find me exploring Florida’s ecosystems or frolicking beneath the waves.

A guiding principle in everything I do is simple: leave things better than we found them. My goal is to uplift our community, protect what makes Boca extraordinary, and empower residents to have a meaningful voice in shaping our shared future.

Together, we can preserve Boca Raton for future generations.
